Fiesta Inn Ecatepec
"Good service in a safe hotel"
Staying here for business trips, the hotel staff really does their best to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The shopping mall, as mentioned previously by other users, is a big plus. You also have a Walmart nearby so that's convenient as well. Good selection in breakfast. Places for improvement - The pool is in repair for a long time (although I haven't seen any construction); the room cards usually need a replacement or a re-configuration once in a couple of days (please take care of this!), water pressure and temparature in the shower requires some work as well. Bottom line - this is a reasonable hotel in this area and does have its good sides and advantages.
I did stay here last year for 3 month and now for another 3 month, would not stay in this place for vacation. Left elevator is broken almost every second day, no water pressure on the 6th floor, AC broken every other day, swimming pool still no water, most of the time no hot water on the 6th floor. Manager never available. Food was good but overpriced last year, bad this year and still overpriced, bar most of the time has no beer. All this issues are ongoing and never get fixed. I have to stay here since there is nothing else safe close around. Would not recommend this place for the price you pay.
"Pleasent stay, nice staff"
Nice 5 day stay, staff was attentive, though, occasionally in the restaurant a bit slow...good breakfast buffet, (all I ate there was breakfast), fruit, juices, fresh cooked eggs(not on Saturday/Sunday). One ice machine didn't work & the one that was supposed to be on the 3rd floor, wasn't. Average exercise room on 1st floor but pool & sauna was closed for my entire stay. Elevators strange. Need room key to go your floor, but can not go to a higher floor, need to use the steps. Girls at front desk were great, especially Alain. Small food shops & a Walmart one can walk to, most close by 10/11PM. However, the central part of town is a 30 minute cab ride. Horrendous traffic, and traffic management/flow. Once you get there many shops to browse and some nice food places, once called Sarah's down from the Municipal Building. Most everyone was very friendly.
"Very Nice for the area"
This is a very nice Hotel to stay in if you are on business in the area. The hotel is clean and has friendly staff. There is a Mall directly across from hotel entrance and it has many shops and restaurants. Fast food or sit down restaurants are all close by. The Breakfast is very good and price is reasonable. If I need a hotel in this area again I would most likely stay here.
"Walk to mall and many restaurants"
A typical mid-level business hotel. Certainly not a great location at a high level, but at a local level, being able to mall and many places to eat is a big plus. A nice treat of ice cream on check-in. Staff does a fine job - note only a few speak English. Nice breakfast. Fitness room fine, and a nice [though small] semi-outdoor pool. Some road noise, get upper floor room.
