The official name of the state is “Querétaro de Arteaga”, and it is located in Mexico’s central-eastern region. It is one of the six smallest states of the country. However, its privileged location, which is a point of convergence of the main thoroughfares of Mexico, its weather and its social atmosphere make it an attractive community. There are a great variety of landscapes throughout the different regions of the state. Sightseeing tours include local spas, museums and temples, as well as the fairs that take place throughout the year. Golf, mountain climbing and bullfighting are some of the main sports activities. Additionally, there are several important industrial parks such as Querétaro, Benito Juárez and Bernardo Quintana.
