Location

Mazatlán, in the state of Sinaloa, is an important development center located to the northwest of Mexico City. It is bathed by the Pacific Ocean, having a 20-Km (12.5 mile) sea wall. Its historic downtown area has a traditional colonial atmosphere. Surrounded to the east by the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, populated by picturesque small towns that still keep their traditional environments.
